The firm

Management consultancy for companies operating where the map is less well drawn.

Novofin Consulting is a Dubai-based consulting company providing management consultancy to companies across the emerging markets of the Middle East, Central and Eastern Europe, and Asia.

The practice is built around structuring debt financing and advising on M&A transactions, alongside broader corporate finance work. Engagements are led directly by the principal rather than passed down a team, which suits transactions where the constraint is judgement and relationships rather than headcount.

Sector focus

Energy first.

The firm's principal sector is energy: power generation — nuclear among it — and the transmission and infrastructure that carry it. Novofin advises generators, investors and lenders on debt structuring, acquisitions and disposals of energy assets across its markets.

Alongside energy, the practice remains active in real estate and services, reflecting the principal's own investment interests built over three decades in the region.

Peter Fellegi has spent more than three decades investing and advising across the emerging markets of Central and Eastern Europe, Russia and the CIS.

A 1988 graduate of the Prague School of Economics, he was a partner at Europa Capital Management from 1993 to 2006, running the firm's business in Russia, Ukraine and Bulgaria.
